I should begin with absolutely honesty. I am very disappointed in myself for leaving my first photo shoot so late and therefore stunting myself from the outset. In hindsight I should have thought of a way around my first idea, perhaps shooting in the studio to begin with, because I couldn't get home, where I would have been able to understand much earlier on that the way the project was going was too superficial.

Finally happy with my project, I ordered my images today, knowing that they would just about come in time.

Today I edited my images in Photoshop. For the most part, I did the following:

I have completed my photo shoot for this project and I am happy with the results! I took about 150 photographs of 8 different setups:

Today, I am going to photograph 'That's Where The Fruit Is' in the hope that this will wrap up my project (I realise I have said this before, but hopefully I mean it this time).

I love this series. Theron Humphrey is still photographing his dog, Maddie, literally ‘on things’. It is such a simple idea which makes this project amusing and genuinely pleasant viewing, I can’t imagine many people not smiling at at least one of these images.

This series is similar to Klimas' others in the sense that he blows his subjects up. He had previously photographed shattering figurines and flower vases alongside a series on falling objects and possibly his best known series, which involves painting with sound...

Boffoli's series 'Big Appetites' is a different take on food photography. On his website he says that the idea all stems from when he was a child, watching films and television shows that featured the juxtaposition of different scales, just like tiny people in a normal-sized world and from the perspective of a child's imagination.

To begin with, I have found it difficult to find anything remotely similar to what I envisage doing. I remember my family once showing me some of the images in jest below so thought I would look again to inspire me a little more.
